Our Pastors

Dr. David Downs, Pastor was called into the ministry as a young man, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pastoral Ministry from William Jennings Bryan College, a Master of Theology degree in Pastoral Ministry and Church Leadership from Dallas Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Fuller Theological Seminary.

He and his wife Laurie have been married since 1980 and have 5 grown children.

Pastor Dave has been in the ministry now for over 45 years and has a passion for expository Bible preaching, witnessing daily to lost souls, and shepherding  the flock of Christ. He was called to be the Senior Pastor of Berean Baptist Church on June 18, 2023.

Ray Salmon began his ministry as an intern at Christian Community Church in Luxembourg from 1996 – 1998. In 1998 he enrolled in Appalachian Bible College and graduated in 2002 with a degree in Bible, including a concentration in Missions. Since 2002, he has performed various tasks of ministry in the churches he has attended in Colorado and now Florida. In 2019, he was called to become a deacon of Berean Baptist Church and served in that capacity until being called as Associate Pastor in January of 2023.
